Your privacy lockdown
- Review the AI training switch.In Privacy or Data Controls, look for a toggle such as “Improve the model” or “Help improve AI.” Switch it off if you do not want new chats used to train or improve the AI.
- Review memory.Remove saved details and unwanted personalization.
- Limit connections.Disconnect email, drives, calendars, and apps not needed.
- Use private mode.Choose temporary, incognito, or private chats when available.
- Redact before uploading.Remove names, account numbers, and private records.
- Secure the account.Use a unique password and a second sign-in check.

What happens when that switch is off? Turning off AI training limits one particular use of your new conversations: using them to improve or train the AI. It does not hide the conversation from the service. The service still must receive and process what you enter to answer you, and it may keep some information temporarily for security, legal, or operational reasons. That is why you should still avoid entering sensitive information.
